That is a poor review.

I read them and here are what they say.

First guy: The White Knight Keren and the enemy Boss' powers are good. The offline play is well balanced and can be played without having to strain oneself, but there are several little annoying aspects of the game play. The online play where you can talk and adventure with a friends in realtime could use an auto battle and auto run system. Its difficult to chat while running around or fighting.

score 7

Second guy: Being able to make your own combos, change your AC, and developing individual skills through battle is fun. The large enemies in the game are amazingly powerful. The online chat is difficult to do but they set up the online like a social networking site (SNS) and there seems to be the possibility for large network communication.

score 8

What the fuck?????

So the scores are lowered by 2 and 3 because of some damn communication issues?????? The first dude wanted "Auto-run" because he found it hard to talk and play?????

Is it like SOCOM where you have to hold down some button to speak or something??? WTF!!!???

I'm picking this game up. This review = BS to me...

I don't know how many times this has already been said on this board. Never read the Famitsu reviews, only look at their score. Famitsu respects the game developer and rarely put down a game, even if it sucks.

You may think it's worthless, but Famitsu has a lot of credibility in Japan. Also, this is not just a single review saying the game is mediocre, 4 reviewers are saying the game is mediocre. Unless Sony pulls a Microsoft and markets this game properly (which they won't) it will hardly sell.

FAIL

what's the point of the score without the review?

That's what some people here point out. The reviews doesn't justify the low score it got. (auto-whatt? :P, Chat problems haha LOL)

So did the 4 reviewers of TLR from Famitsu made the right reviews by giving it a total of 38? (not stating it's technical failures etc etc...)

In my opinion IU and TLR's Famitsu review was too cheeeeezzzzyyyyy if you compare it to the review of WKC...

Wow... You quoted me but didn't read what I wrote? The Famitsu reviews typically only point out the POSITIVE elements in the game. Even if the entire game is total trash, they will give it a poor score and comment "It's a neat game but it could use a bit of work." Again, Famitsu doesn't like to rip on games unlike western reviewers. The game received a poor score because they thought it was subpar, not just because of chat problems.

Although I do agree TLR got a higher score than I would have given it, the game probably had elements which they really liked. The composer of the game also worked on MGS and FFVII AC and the art director also worked on FFVII, FFVIII, and FFX. Perhaps that was enough to boost its score.

Good news Everyone!

I've invented a device which makes you read this in your head, in my voice!
