Meh, Nintendo's next generation in portables (not DSi) Will PWN the iFone (I refuse to spell it the way it was intended)! Anyway... Until then, I stick with my DS lite and cell phone for games, and music...

Many people will not buy/play games on an iFone/rather buy a DS because they:

1 Don't have AT&T.

2. Know the next one will come out in 2-3 months.

3. Don't want to pay $200 for an 8GB (Will fill up fast with lots of real games), or $300 for a 16 GB... (all of those prices are with contracts, imagine if your's isn't up yet...) Once you cross the $150 line in portables, people are immediately turned off. If you don't believe me, ask the PSP... or in the consoles' early $400 mark, the PS3...

4. Want to play Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, Metroid, and all other Nintendo titles

5. The library is tiny compared to the DS's.

6. Like buttons in addition to a touch screen (you can't put your finger on a virtual button without pressing it, can you?)

7. Don't want to cramp their hands on such a small device (The DSL sometimes had this problem... moreso with the original GBA and GBAmicro)

8. Want Guitar Hero (THE REAL THING, not a tap-tap skin), which is exclusive to the DS, and with only 3 buttons, and way less songs, regular cell-phones...

9. Actually want some solid 1st party games

10. Are not going to buy their kid a phone just to play games on it.

So, I'm sorry stof, but I have to say that I highly disagree with your opinions... but this is not the future of portable gaming...
