God of War 2 is Game of the Year right now and only 2 games probably even have a shot of knocking it off. That would be GTA IV and Halo 3. I don't see a nintendo title even coming close.
I was reading in a magazine (OXM)
People in Las Vegas are betting 2:1 for Halo 3 to be game of the year, Mass Effect is at 3:1.
Metroid prime and supermario are not the kinda game that will get the media attention, they don't have the massive hype that halo 3 will get which will sell alot
