Like the console war I fear the hard core are going to be always in the minority.
just as big PS360 games move crazy numbers they still don't come close to the numbers mario kart and wii fit can push and on the hardware front it's not even a contest.
Likewise hardcore gadget spenders and home cinema buffs can buy big budget movies with big explosions in big numbers on release but I think there is strong possibility that the numbers will always be much lower than the numbers for dvd
