While the console war is not over, the TREND that is happening now- if europe ps3 sales follow the japan and us sales... if the sales trend of the current cycle continues with no significant changes in the sales world wide, the Wii will pass the xbox360 with the largest installed base of the 3 new consoles imo ~17 million world wide total the xbox will be 2nd at around 14 million units sold the ps3 will be 3rd at around 7 million units sold (europe depending) IF this trend stays the way it is...ps3 will be in almost no position to gain the majority share of the market for atleast the next 3 years. as to price drops, not going to happen til around xmas -if then
