Um... this is 2008, so anything announced this year I wouldn't really consider to be "old news" for a 2009 release.

And, haven't we heard about Halo Wars since 2006, and Alan Wake since 2004?  And basically nothing else major from MS at all (although Ninja Blade is major I hope), because, they claim, they are holding their cards?

Did you even read the original post? The same "crap" that I am talking about is that 2009 will be big for the PS3, just like 2007 and 2008 were supposed to be big for them too.

 

IGN AU posted an article claiming that the PS3 "won" 2008, in terms of exclusives, from their perspective.  I think there are plenty of media sites (and reviews) who would probably agree.

I think you definition of "big" is, perhaps, a little different than most people's.  Lots of good games this year, for the PS3 and the X360.  Lots of good ones coming next year too.  I call that "big".

 

Really? They won 2008? Well excuse me for noticing that the 360 is going to sell more consoles for the year thanks to destroying the PS3 for the holidays. Plus, let's not forget that Gears 2 has outsold Resistance 2, LBP and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift combined...
