Xbox 360 Sales Double PS3 Sales as Sony Remains Blind to Reality

When people say "PS3 is dead", why does price always come up? I am unable to believe that the PS3 is compared to the Gamecube by some people, price points were very different so until the PS3 drops to $100 and sells Gamecube numbers I will continue to be dumbfounded.
