 My answer was not to start a flamewar anyway aren't most of those Japanese game(s)? Except of The Conduit and Red Steel 2,  guess Sony and MS went to VGA awards and asked them to show those teasers/announce DLC.

Ah ok, no problems then. But it's more that the VGA just completely missed the biggest competitor of the two consoles they showed the most.
It's understandable of course. Jack black promoting his game of brutal legend only appears on the 360 and PS3. Everything on the wii is thus competition...
