Wasn't MGS4 released on a DL Blu-ray disc? I read it was 33gigs?? There wasn't anything about DL Blu-ray discs average read times in MikeB's source...er, himself. Maybe in that particular instance Konami was forced to have mandatory installs because of the slower read times?
Then again it doesn't explain, Bioshock, GTA IV, Oblivion - DEVIL MAY CRY 4 (25 minute install) etc.
