Oh also, other then Madden, the reason why I don't want any other franchises to die is because they still have a market.
If Nintendo stopped making Mario games tommorrow the day after tommorrow someone would develop a game called "O'Brian" about "O'Brian O'brian" an irish electrician who while working on some electrical work gets zapped to the Flower kindgom where he has to save Princess Sunflower from the evil Stupa and his Frog Minions.
Games franchises will die when the market dies as it should be. Otherwise, why deny people the games they love?
