I would say that developer acquisitions and securing third-party exclusives wouldn't be the wisest move in their current situation.
I would have to say swallow my pride and accept defeat knowing that chasing the competition with price cut after price cut is not a profitable solution when your competition has WAY deeper pockets.
They need a first party to create an innovative 'it' item...something with wide appeal that everyone must have, not just another Kill Zone game for the enthusiasts. They have a great list of exclusives lined up for next year but none that entice anyone but hardcore gamers - which sadly seems to be where the money is. I think they're guilty of asking the fans what they want instead of asking people who feel that they can live without it 'how can we get you to buy a PS3?'
