I think with home right now people are missing the point.. It's missing what it was designed to do. - Have virtual items to put in your apartment awarded from playing through PS3 games *Remember the 'lair' trophy*. And if you play a lot of games you could really deck out your apartment. I also think they need to incorporate in game screen shots for most ps3 games so you can put them up in frames in your apartment - they could do the same with the youtube support they have. Sony really needs to get off their but and patch in rewards from their first party offerings.
The whole virtual shopping mall, game room, movie theater and 'promotional' areas seem to be the focus right now, and they're not meant to be anything but a virtual website/chatroom for them I didn't expect much. I'm still wondering if there is a lot more 'ready to go' for it but they plan on not dolling it all out at once (where are the resistance, socom and warhawk areas?).
