Where as the PS3 had a better year all around, and hasn't really experienced much of a Christmas boost yet. In others, PS3 destroys the GC by comparison. In Japan, the GC had a really strong 1st and 3rd year holiday sales, while again, the PS3 hasn't seen that much of a boost yet. So if you look worldwide, the PS3 is doing better than the GC was doing, mostly because of the strong performance in Others. |
yes the cube was very much a holiday seller, also the reason for the major increase was I believe this was the 1st cmas the cube was $99

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
