Sony already told us a lot of things (actually they told investors but the information is public since they're a publically traded company).
They told us they're not making money on PS3 hardware. They told us their current objective is to get the gaming division to be profitable, not to get market share. Most recently, they told us they're in trouble due to the economic crisis and currency problems, then they fired 16,000 people.
Don't let that stopping you from hoping for the best though. Just don't be too surprised if the best is not what happens.
