This isn't them denying an announcement. This is someone denying any plans. Nintendo has said they are looking into their next systems, if not rushing anything.
With Sony getting hammered in profits, and the whole company suffering due to the economy, this isn't something to brush off.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
