No kidding. Not putting DQX on the Wii is tantamount to suicide on SE's part. It's a title only the Japanese care about. It makes all the sense in the world to put that title on the only console Japanese gamers care about - the Wii. It makes even more sense when you factor in how much more cheaply and quickly you can produce a game for the console.
Meanwhile, western developers will still continue to ignore the Wii with their high profile games - to a fault.
