No...no, not really. The Wal-Mart numbers are carefully estimated, looking at the trends the other retailers present. This is a system that has worked very well for over ten years, so don't; go trying to twist this saying "IT'S A WILD GUESS!"
Just like VGCharts, theres a certain margin for error, but unlike VGCharts, it has something along the lines of a 95% accuracy. Meaning there is a 5% margin of error.
The gap between 360 and PS3 is far to large for PS3 to be ahead, even in a best case scenario.
Don't even bother trying to twist it Hus. PS3 lost to the 360 in July, and with a 360 price cut in August, it'll loose this month too. I don't think I even need to talk about September and October....
