Um... No. I realize this is supposed to be flamebait but...
The Japanese have no problems using other cultures stuff as there own for stories and adopting it as such., plenty of japanese stuff is placed elsewhere. Also... have you seen the game? The characters look as asian as any JRPG characters. As for the giant swords and Chocobo stuff. That's funny.
I'd guess the reasons Eurogamer gave it a 5.
