Are you kidding I’m a grandpa with an eight year old grandson. I freaking damn well better be getting him some stuff.
The main gift (other than a telescope) is Wii Fit, and Shaun White to go with it. He thinks Wii Fit is a competitive sport, especially the ski jump and tightrope walk.
Other games: I sent him the Blob a few weeks ago – he loved it
We both go Spore for the PC so we can play online – got my butt kicked
