It's a bit out of date but 2/3 is way off. They're just making excuses.

Is NPD counting Wii sports/play?

Also that is from one region, where wii had about 45 million software sales on that timeframe. 13 million of those are from the sales of wii sports/play. From top selling wii titles, SMG was the only one out and it was sold for like 8 weeks. Now there are a lot of wii fit, mario kart, brawl and smg sales added there. That 2/3 number is most likely right on the spot.
