Its obvious that most of the development effort has gone into graphical technology and visuals. They don't disappoint. However - and similar to LAIR as well - a lot less effort has gone into the game play/design itself.
This is exactly what Nintendo were talking about, when talking about the PS3 compared to the Wii. Sony don't seem that concerned about pushing the gameplay envelope - the PS1/PS2 sold really well based on "last-gen" gameplay, and Sony seems (initially at least) to be keen to keep the old style of game - and incorporate new graphical tech.
(Ninty on the other hand is the exact opposite - gameplay is most important - along with input - and visuals much less important).
HS is a 7.0-8.0 game. Get over it. Whereas BioShock will end up with a gamerankings score of around 9.5, HS will end up around 7.5-8.0.
