This is recorders, not straight players or movies.
That likely means people taking advantage of the extra space (even a single layer disc to burn on is nothing to sneeze at), but this is just for one part of the market.
So the title of that story and this thread is really deceptive.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
