@Slimebeast - I think you missed some important points. $150 USD is way over my budget. Also the 4850 is massively overpowered for my system and there are may cheaper alternatives that would give me the same performance.
@ameratsu - The 8800GS 384MB is the model I'm leaning towards. It does look like a great deal with the MIR.
