I agree. 

Video games, for me at least, are the cheapest form of entertainment.  In another thread we were figuring out how games cost per hour.

And for me in particular, it cost me about $0.85/hour for my XBOX 360.  That's way cheaper than going out to eat or a movie... or for that matter even buying movies.  Two hours for a movie cost between $10-15 and hour to watch.  Plus I think when people are economically depressed, they like taking their rage out on a game.  It's a temporary escape from reality.
