Anyone who thinks the next Xbox will be announced is a fool, the 360 is selling far too well to even consider a successor for the next 3 years at a bare minimum. If any hardware is announced it will be the 360 Slim.
I'm sure the break the bank comment is in relation to the upcoming game library anyway.
