Hope that they do become more popular than the PS3 both in others and Japan. This way SONY will have nothing else to do than step it up and do some things we gamers expect from them.
Competition is what defines gaming, it's what keeps things going. If SONY is in a tight spot, then they'll have to do some good. This is why I think Nintendo has been doing an outstanding job. They are first in all regions and they keep releasing some great games... Some may disagree.
