I'd say if you must buy a 2nd console, go wii60. PS3 is great, but side by side with a 360, 360 dominates is imo with the games lineup.
On top of that multiplatform is HD territory and whilst there are no lemons technically for the 360 version of any multiplatform games (that I know of), there are quite a few on the PS3. Again that's not me slagging the PS3, I'm just saying that you won't find a truly terrible 360 experience for multiplatform games that was awesome on the PS3 version (where as you could for the opposite scenario).
I wouldn't recommend getting a Wii because we don't know what Nintendo's got planned in 2009, and I personally am only interested in Fragile and The Conduit (Madworld doesn't interest me). But if you really like what Nintendo's brought to the table and you want a fun family activity, buy Guitar Hero World Tour on the 360 (j/k), get a Wii.
