I am getting this game for Christmas, hopefully with the Wii Speak microphone.
At first, I was very reluctant on getting this game. It looked so similar to Wild World that I failed to see the logic of going back to the game and experience it a third time. My best friend (also an AC fanatic) was also boycotting the game. Considering the best part about the game is sharing it with friends it made no sense playing it again.
But recently, I felt nostalgic. I remember how me and my friend played "Illegal fruit selling immigrants" in order to raise bells for our houses till the wee hours of the night. Then on the summer of 2006 his ex-girlfriend discovered tarantulas in WW, which sparked a hunt for the elusive beast. When my friend captured it it was an epic event.
I sold my copy of WW last year to Gamestop, and began to regret it. Luckily, City Folk was right around the corner so I decided to dive right in. Best of all, my best friend also got the game and is enjoying it heavily. Many other friends also began to play so I still enjoy the game as the social event it is.
I am new to VGchartz, but I hope to find new friends to play with.
