@ comrade toya:
in case you weren't convinced already:
Basically, it's run from left to right, sometimes going up and down, or even back and front to avoid / capture whatever you want.
However, the level design is absolutely amazing. It is pure fun to play a level (although I'm getting extremely frustrated at one of the last levels >_>), even if you have already played it lots of times.
You can compare it Super Mario Galaxy. It's a platformer of the absolute brilliant kind. (some of the bits and pieces of the levels are absolutely marvellous)
Collecting the bubbles aside (which is a lot like the star bits in SMG, even though you have to run over them and they actually serve a highscore purpose), you will definitely go back to collect all the items that can be collected in the levels. For some reason - I thought I would never do it, because I couldn't care about some background or some sound or some object - it is highly addictive.
Not only does it bring you closer to 100% completion of the level and the game, they have been smart enough to connect those to the actual gameplay.
Every once in a while you will find an empty cardboard picture. Providing that you have collected that actual decoration or sticker, you can then enlarge, rotate or flip that sticker and paste it onto the empty cardboard picture, giving you access to more stickers and such which were hidden.
There are also backtrack options in the level which do not give you the opportunity to get somewhere faster, but it'll give you the opportunity to get some more bubbles or some new stickers.
Add in the parts that are only accessible when you are playing with two or with 4 players, and you'll see that they have managed to lengthen the game quite a bit, without actually making it boring, because playing with more people is a blast.
And that's not even considering the multiplayer (some levels are absolutely brilliant) and going for the trophies (which is also fun).
Other than that, the game sucks ;)
