I'd bet money the next M$ console uses blu-ray. Maybe nintendo will too, but I have my doubts. By the time the next generation comes around, bluray will be cheaper to make and it will be a lot more common. Bluray is already replacing dvd's faster than dvds replaced VHS. That really says something considering dvds were so much better than vhs. Then again, people who buy a bluray player can at least still play their old dvds on it. That may be another reason for it. Either way, bluray is only going to get bigger and bigger. Like I said before, the only reason I own a ps3 anymore is bluray. It's hard to watch dvds on an hd tv when you've gotten used to the quality of bluray.
