I finally went out and bit the bullet and bought a Wii from the local Meijer this afternoon.  Now, before any of you go and say, "Well, you have said in the past that you wouldnt buy one until there are more then 2 interesting games,"well ... I did not buy the console for myself.  My 66 year old father has hinted in the last couple of months that he had a great time playing last summer when he went to visit his sister, so my brother and I chipped in to buy it for him.

Now, what kind of games do you think a 66 year old man and a 65 year old woman would enjoy playing on the Wii?  The only game I play on getting for them right now is Tiger Woods 2009, since they both play golf on a regular basis.  Outside of that, anything is fair game.

I am laughing as I write this, lol, but this is exactly what Nintendo wanted.  Old folks playing their games.

Bethesda's Todd Howard "if install base really mattered, we'd all make board games, because there are a lot of tables."
