Just look at the numbers of the last big FPS exclusive on the PS3, which was Haze.

 

 

Haze was hyped as much as Killzone 2? Must have been rough times for the PS3 is that really was the case.

 

Haze was pretty hyped (on the internet), but about 5 months before it was released the previews started to come and the hype died. Killzone is the exact opposite.
