The price of a PS3 does not become easier to swallow because Nintendo MIGHT release a new Wii SKU. Though, uh... There won't be a new Wii SKU. Maybe a "redesign", but nothing with new functionality... And nothing with a higher price tag.
And I will bet you that Wii will have outsold 360 and PS3 combined worldwide by the end of 2009. Its a sure thing.
Are you being serious about Wii > PS3+360 sales end of 2009? Because if you are... I'm putting your name from the "admired" bin into the "loony" bin. :P
Well why could it not? Its no given as of now of course, but the potential is there. If PS3/PSP/Xbox 360 can more than double their sales with games temporarily then the Wii could do the same, dont you think? Though the question remains, if they can ever produce enough consoles to make use of such a momentum, seeing that the DS seems still supply-constrained.
