Nintendo did say they have more hardcore games coming.

 

 

 

And Nintendo likes to announce games at the last minute lately. Just look at Mario Kart Wii. :)

Don't tell me, I remember the times I was a big Nintendo fan......all the way up to the NGC era I always favored (and suffered) with the Big N. I would also expect a F Zero Wii next year if I had a Wii.
