I get how it works and it looks interesting, but I don't think taking what looks like a pretty fun fighting game engine and stretching it out into an hours-long RPG is good policy. Maybe making it into a more traditional action game or something...

I'm more excited by what Square might do with this experimental gameplay system after Dissidia is finished than by Dissidia itself. They could make a pretty good action game out of it.
