Now after Black Friday I think Wii will have 41 platinum titles. Thus in the next 5 weeks these titles will go platinum:

Wii Music
Lego Indiana Jones
The Simpsons Game
Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution
Ben 10: Protector of the Earth
We Ski
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party
Rock Band
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Guitar Hero: World Tour

Also I predict somewhere close to 90 titles will be gold. Although we are still missing others sales for some games this is going off data we do have. With 41 million sellers by the end of the year it will also set up the opportunity for some games to go platinum in early 2009 or first couple of months which will probably already be there in shipments by the end of the year. Those include:

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08(already plat with others)
House of Dead 2 and 3 Return
Big Beach Sports
Madden NFL 08

And then of course other titles that are already platinum are:

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
Cooking Mama: Cook Off

Meaning realistically at the end of the year we'll have about 47 platinum titles but 4 will only be in shipments and 2 won't be there because of lack of data.

Not bad if I do say so myself. Other titles that will come out of the holiday season in good position to go platinum throughout 2009 will be:

Shaun White Snowboarding
Mysims Kingdom
De Blob
Sega Superstars Tennis
Endless Ocean
Hannah Montana: Spotlight Tour
Boom Blox
Super Mario Sluggers
Tiger Woods 09 All Play
Guinnes Book of World Records
High School Musical 3
Lego Batman
Family Trainer/Active Life
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
Sonic Unleashed

Which means tied in with new releases in 09, it'll have a healthy supply of games past gold looking for platinum status with a good chance. And there are a few others, but these are the main ones I see right now. In other words, I think Ninty's lack of more games for this holiday season may actually be paying off more than expected for 3rd parties. Most of these titles are 3rd party games. Selling even when a few games are taking up a large portion of the sales which bodes well for coexistance of 3rd party and 1st party titles in the future.
