As much as I'm deeply madly in love with Kraftwerk and had my life changed by seeing them live... I gotta let you know that they didn't invent electronic music. I mean, George Harrison put out an electronic solo album before the Beatles even broke up.
And I'd also estimate that almost all pop and hip hop today is made with synthesizers anyway, so electronic music is almost the whole mainstream industry.
