here we go again, ppl criticising blu ray again. just to remind ya dvd can't support HD. they weren't design to handle the memory HD needs. since HD takes 5x more memory than standard, you need 5x more memory. thats where blu ray comes in. why do you think movie developers don't put HD on dvd's, because it can't fit.
i remember ppl saying that DVD was a faliure and it won't replace VCR's because it was more expensive, well look at wat happen. once the PS2 came out with dvd playability, and dvd players prices dropped, they were flying off the shelfs and ppl started converting VCS, to DVD's. the same thing will happen to blu ray. once the price drops, everyone will convert to blu ray and HD
