Why won't soy make any pricecuts?????

I had out of date soy the other day. After that dissapointment, I'm not sure I'll buy soy again. Clearly, if there are others like me who have suffered from out of date soy, then less people will buy soy, and they will be forced to keep the prices up otherwise they'll make no money.
