If you read Eurogamer's comparison articles, its fairly obvious that they ride the line, and frankly, they aren't basing their opinions on "facts" at all, for the most part.

Look how Eurogamer uses facts to compare the patched PS3 Bioshock with the unpatched version.

So, any enhancements to the game engine’s performance? Time to run a sample from the game’s lovely intro sequence through the Digital Foundry frame analyser in both pre-patch and post-patch formats.

Pre-Patch Result: 25.380fps average   <----Loook!!! Facts!!!!!
Patch Results: 25.174fps average

3781 frames analysed in the total sample, just 13 more unique frames in the patched version clip.

When comparing PS3/360 Fracture

If the PS3 game looks a little fuzzy in comparison, it's because a pretty substantial drop in resolution: 1152x648 versus the more normal 1280x720 - a 23 per cent improvement in favour of the Microsoft console. <----My God!!! Look, more facts!!!

Hmm. I wonder how much overhead the Digital Foundry frame analyser costs on each system.
