To answer your previous question what type of game would be needed for Xbox to gain a wii-like reputation and start stealing wii-people, I think it would have to be an entirely new game. New in every sense. New in the way that Wii Sports was. A new way to think about gaming. An entirely new experience.

It would be good if it came bundled with the console, so that every new console sold was a part of the new strategy, and not just a niche part of the group they turn to. They would have to have some sort of new image to go with the game. And it would have to be a good game. Not good in the way that it gets awesome reviews. Oh no. It has to be appealing, and delivering on that appeal.

If Microsoft does all that, they have a chance of stealing Wii consumers. But remember Little Big Planet. Even with the huge effort Sony is making to add the quirky and creative image to their console, it doesn't really alter the PS3 image of an overpriced graphics beast. They need more than just that one game. They need an army of games, heralding a new wave, not just a single soldier fighting windmills.
