I can't usually notice the difference on my own setup, the upscaled DVDs and even the Wii look really good on my TV.

The real question is what setup do you have? On a standard Def or older HD TV you will never notice the difference. Yes My Wii games like Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime looked AWSOME on my old TV, the 360 text was to small and blurry though. So now I got a brand new 40in HD 1080p Samsung (love that blue light at the bottom). I kind of cringe at the wii games now because they dont look as good all streched out on my brand new TV as they did before. The thing is for 10-15$ more I dont care about Blue-ray disks, ive seen them on a PS3 which is supposted to be the best blue-ray player on the market... or at least thats what Sony keeps craming down peoples throats.  Its just not worth the money to me and most people, to not only buy a $300+ player but also pay out the ass for movies I can get for $10-15 not $20-30. I mean seriously I see the difference but its not worth my money. Same reason most people dont buy a new car.
