Personally, when I played the Lair beta on my buddy's PS3, I would have rated it at an 8-8.5 if it didn't have the bugs (which I'm sure the final version doesn't). This is my point about all reviews: read them, see what people have to say, but don't assume that they necessarily feel the same way about the game that you will. That doesn't mean you need to call reviewers fanboys, but just understand that reviewers are people too, and they are reviewing based on opinions. They aren't computers, and they aren't flawlessly analyzing a game's value. They do the best they can, but don't take any single review as fact, ever, no matter who wrote it. That's my thoughts on this. |
Something tells me that if the editor didn't work at xbox, Hus would've found some sort of connection. Maybe his ex-girlfriend once served coffee to a microsoft employee who knew someone who worked on the xbox. Some people just can't accept that a game they have hyped THEMSELVES on by being a fanboy might be bad.
