Saturn/Dreamcast? Not a chance. Sony has a massive array of downloadable games, streaming media, plus lots of top tier games in the pipelines. And Pioneer just rolled out 400GB BluRay discs. Also, the PS3's middleware is, so my spies inform me, much improved. Some developers are just lazy, or choose to focus on one platform or another.
If the PS3 got a price cut to $299/299EUR, it would crush the 360. Why Sony isn't going for the jugular, I don't know. Maybe they're just getting too greedy, or figure (wrongly) that an HD Wii can't hurt them. Maybe the economic crisis has them pinching pennies. Hard to say.
