Xmas time always is Nintendo time because parents buy for their kids. It will be interesting to see what happens in the first quarter 2009. HD-TVs slowly are reaching mass market prices and if mass market realizes that the 360 has won the HD-battle the 360 will get another boost.

Slowly....? Have you been to your local Target, Walmart, Fry's or Best Buy? It's tought to even find a TV thats not HD at retail stores now. During thanksgiving I went to 2 Walmarts, a Fry's and a Target, NONE had an none HDTV's on display, there probably are a couple hiding somewhere but retail is really pushing HDTVs.

Also, have you heard of Blu-ray? Yeah that little blue disc packing 50GB of HD Content, which console can do that?

Here in Germany at my local retailers HDTVs were quite expensive - until recently above 599 Euro. And the 599-HDTVs had not the best picture quality. Now there are some in the 499 Euro region, and thats what I call 'slowly reaching mass market prices'.
