I used to run my PC, Wii and a standalone set top tv tuner through my 24" Dell monitor and had speaker seperate. Worked perfectly fine and you can chose if you want it to respect aspect ratio or just outright fill the screen (remember, 1920x1200 is 16:10, not 16:9).
Haven't tried my 360 through it because I own a 46" plasma now.
