USB keyboards may be cheap, but that's no good if you don't want cables across your lounge room floor. Wireless USB keyboards are almost useless since they don't work more than a couple of metres (at least the M$ ones I've tried), so the only other real keyboard option would be a Bluetooth wireless keyboard, which retail for around AUD$150+.
