Games as in Platformers, Music, Adventures, Lightgun shooters, Point & Click, Retro, Golf, Soccer/Football, Puzzle?

Just asking. Some people seriously think that only shooters are games.

Saying that HD consoles only have shooters is just as bad as saying that Wii only has shovelware.

No the Wii doesnt only have shovelware, but oh my god does it have a lot.  This past weekend was the first time I ever looked at Wii software at stores with the purpose of purchasing.  My nephew got a Wii last Christmas and my wifes family set a limit of $25 per kid. We were told that he would like a Wii game and we were told that there is software available. So I looked. I have never seen a console that has so much crap.  Was the PS2 this bad?
