These stats have nothing to do with being a MS fanboy, so suggesting it is wrong. I'm a early adopter of BR, had it from the start (and HDDVD) It is a fact that BR has a slower adoption then the studios thought it would once HDDVD stopped. Prices of stand alone players has been a big problem, as well as the prices of discs in retail stores. The BR sales the last few days will help the cause, but they need to come down across the board system, and disc wise to all major retail outlets. Seeing a Fox/Sony movie sell for $35 at BB yesterday, made me happy I shop at amazon for all my movies.
