I cannot recommend Lost Odyssey enough. Nor can most 360 owners who enjoy this genre. Almost universally it is right at the top of our lists. Also as strange as it sounds I highly recommend Infinite Undiscovery even though that title is far more contentious. However I found it to be a good simplistic presentation. So if nothing else you might just find yourself mildly amused, but its highly doubtful you will find it reprehensible.

Anyway if your not enjoying the Last Remnant you can always trade it in for one of those two titles which are obviously far cheaper by this point in time.

I agree that Lost Odyssey is the oe to buy.  Though the story is corny and the character design is lame, it has good production value, incredible looking dungeons, great depth, and most importantly it is a long meaty game that does not become repetitive.

Last Remnant looks awful.  I could have bought it when it came out in Japan, but I had a change of heart when I saw the promo video.  Ill probably just go with Tales of Vesperia when the used price comes down a little more.
